Stacy Joslin
A proud Pittsburgh native, Stacy spent the last 20+ years in strategic operations, consulting and marketing before making a long-overdue left turn into wellness. She first earned certification as a functional medicine health coach, and opened Sunny Street Yoga not too long afterward. She’s been a yoga practitioner for over 25 years, and earned her RYT-500 teacher certification with the simply wonderful Asheville Yoga Center.
Stacy’s areas of focus as a teacher and coach are the connection of the breath to movement, the impact of a yoga practice on mental and emotional health, the synchrony of mind, body and spirit in wellbeing, and the study of pranayama and meditation. She is certified in trauma-informed yoga as well as mindfulness-based yoga and meditation modalities, and employs those tenets in her classes. In addition, she recently gained certification as a corporate wellness specialist, and hopes to bring the above concepts into more workplaces, where she believes they are sorely needed.
Stacy loves a good story and a corny joke, and you’ll see her employ both of those vehicles in class. She operates on the foundation that each yogi’s journey is unique and ever-evolving, that community is essential to wellness, and that love and laughter are wonderful medicines.

Elissa Day
Elissa began her yoga practice in 1990. Her first introduction to yoga was with the Iyengar style which focused on alignment. As she progressed, she was drawn to a Vinyasa flow where she felt more comfortable. Gradually gaining strength and a true passion she found a real direction in her practice which allowed her to find physical strength and mental awareness.
From 1999 to 2016 Elissa was a Massage Therapist in Northern California. During this time, she was able continue her training in workshops including Ayurveda, Reiki, Huna principles and Lomi Lomi massage. She received her reiki attainments in 2007 from Rev. Felecia Mulvany.
In May 2021 she completed her 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training. Currently she is able to combine all her skills to make the practice of yoga accessible to all her students.
Elissa’s personal interest include baking, cycling, hiking, photography and travel.
