About Stacy

I’m Stacy–a yoga teacher, functional medicine certified health coach, resident of corporate America, wife and mom.

Thanks again for visiting Sunny Street Yoga. I’m very glad you’re here. I’d like to take a little minute to introduce myself to you. I’m a mom, a wife, and a proud Pittsburgh native. I came here to Atlanta in 2018 after having lived and worked in several additional states, most notably New Jersey and South Florida. I’ve spent the last 20+ years in strategic operations and consulting with large-scale corporations (hence the moving), and about two years ago decided to make a long-overdue left turn into wellness. I first earned certification as a functional medicine health coach, and began operating a coaching business under the name Will Daniel Wellness. Sunny Street Yoga is an official DBA and “happy little corner” of Will Daniel Wellness LLC.

I’ve been a yoga practitioner for almost 25 years, and earned my RYT-200 teacher certification with the simply wonderful Asheville Yoga Center. My areas of focus as a teacher are the connection of the breath to movement, the impact of a yoga practice on mental and emotional health, and the study of pranayama and meditation. I am also certified in mindful resilience training by the Veterans Yoga Project, a preparation that enables me to offer trauma-informed yoga to vets and others dealing with post-traumatic stress.

What you’ll see in Sunny Street is an amalgamation of all of these areas of passion. In addition to a variety of yoga classes, I plan to offer a continual flow of events and educational opportunities related to various areas of wellness, from sound baths to cyanins to self care, and also offer yoga and wellness programs to organizations. I love a good playlist and a bad joke, and you’ll see me employ both of those vehicles in class. Finally, I want more than anything with Sunny Street to enrich the day and the lives of everyone who walks through its doors, in person or virtually. I do hope to see you at Sunny Street, and would love to get to know you better.

Be well,

Stacy
